More Inconvenient Truth

Babies are conscious and learning while becoming in the womb.
Babies are conscious, sensing, communicating, and forming their perception of the world by the way they are received physically, emotionally, and spiritually at birth.

Scientific research, plus years of anecdotal information proves without doubt that we are conscious and learning during gestation, at birth, and in the precious first year of life, the primal time. All experience is stored in the emotional brain extending to the limbic system throughout the body, forming the subconscious. The body ’holds’ what we call the subconscious and remembers everything. I have been privileged to preview to a new film, INUTERO. It brings to the public even more evidence to support the existence of dynamic life before birth and in the crucial first year of life. Interviews with leading scientists and doctors, including Dr. Thomas Verny and Dr. Gabor Mate, are clear and compelling.

I WAS HUGELY INSPIRED AND CONFIRMED BY THE DEPTH OF PEER REVIEWED RESEARCH FINDINGS.

AND, recently, I have been shocked and saddened to read and, in one instance, to hear from people who I consider to be well informed that newborns are like a clear pool of consciousness at birth.

These are people of influence and they are misinforming their public at a time when the truth about the influence of our environment, including our thinking, from conception to death is causing devastating effects in ALL areas of life. Epigenetic’s is the new area of science that is proving that the effects of the environments switch on or off certain genes, showing us that our DNA is simply a blueprint, not certain destiny. The environment determines how it is used. From high Caesarean rates to global warming, human beings are causing damage, to ourselves and to the planet. Circumstance is not happening to us. it is not predetermined. We are happening to circumstance. We are creating Life.

WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO YOUR MOTHER AND IN THE WORLD WHEN SHE WAS PREGNANT WITH YOU?

Did she know that you loved her beyond anything she could imagine?

You were co-creating your body, becoming more and more conscious everyday, making up your mind. I was deeply moved and saddened when Joseph Chilton Pearce showed a particular set of slides in a presentation some years ago. They showed a slice of the brain of a man who had committed heinous crimes. The picture looked like a photo of a slice of Swiss cheese. There were many holes where tissue would normally form, and the prefrontal cortex or frontal lobes was almost non existent.

Sometimes known as the angel lobes, the frontal lobes develop after birth. This relatively new part of the brain has existed for only 40,000 years. It is responsible for our highest intelligence and awareness, our most noble emotions love and compassion, and importantly, is in dynamic contact with all the parts of our brain. Before his death it was revealed that this criminal had co-created his body inside the body of a woman who was physically abused on a regular basis. The abuse continued after birth, as well, and was perpetrated on the child.

THE BELIEF THAT BABIES DO NOT FEEL OR THINK HAS RESULTED IN DEVASTATING EFFECTS ON PERSONAL PSYCHES AND ON THE EARTH ITSELF.

Our abuse of infants and children has been unconscious, although reprehensible. For instance, the fact that babies can feel pain has only recently been acknowledged by science. Although many in the medical community have acknowledged it for many years, in some parts of the world doctors are still performing surgical procedures on infants without anaesthesia.

On 25 January 2016, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) announced a study updating its recommendations on avoiding, minimizing, or treating pain in infants. The AAP statement cites research showing that many “routine” interventions are extremely painful and that there are both short- and long-term consequences of babies’ exposure to painful stimuli.

BIRTH WITHOUT VIOLENCE

Frederick Leboyer’s book BIRTH WITHOUT VIOLENCE was published in 1975 and was the first popular book to suggest what Mothers who were ‘listening’ have always known, babies are conscious at birth. Many followed, among them was Thomas Verny’s THE SECRET LIFE OF THE UNBORN CHILD in 1982 and David Chamberlain’s THE MIND OF YOUR NEW BORN BABY in 1988. My personal experience in 1975 of remembering life before and during my birth convinced me, and since then I have been with more than a thousand people who remember and have healed the negative decisions that they have made. My life has been dedicated to educating people about the consciousness of the unborn and the impact of conception, pregnancy, and birth on all life systems.

Evidence from hundreds of areas of study and life itself agree about this ‘inconvenient truth’, AND like global warming, there are solutions that are being suppressed by greed and fear in special interest groups. Education, consistency, and personal commitment are essential to turn the tide and the trend of women literally forgetting how to give birth naturally, even ecstatically.

Birth ecology is earth ecology and I will be leading a deep inquiry into this subject at the HEALTHY BIRTH, HEALTHY EARTH CONFERENCE at Findhorn in Scotland, 3-9 September 2016.

At your birth, was anyone aware of your conscious participation?
Were you welcomed with “Everyone is so happy that you are here!”?
